| Project aim & Objective: | Public information on management of natural resources related to forest and water in the cross-border area of Ohrid Lake. Improve knowledge and increase awareness of the communities, and local and central authorities responsible for the management of forest and water resources on the importance of their sustainable use. Increase participation of the stakeholders and their collaboration for identifying sustainable solutions for their rural communities is enabled. |
| Results: | Increased information accessibility of the relevant stakeholders in the cross-border area of Ohrid Lake, on management of natural resources related to forest and water. More informed rural communities and more responsible authorities related to water and forest management. Local Advisory Groups on Environment established with representation of different stakeholders, actively participating in providing sustainable solutions to their problems. |
