4th Targeted Call for Strategic Focus on ISO 6.6. “Better Governance in Dojran Lake”

 

The Call has a total budget of 3.071.591,00€ (EU and national contribution), with an EU co-financing rate of 80%. The Calls falls under Priority 4 of the Programme, “Improving Governance for Cooperation.” Its objective is to establish a comprehensive cooperation framework between the competent authorities of Greece and North Macedonia for the protection, monitoring and sustainable management of Lake Dojran.

 

Eligible areas in  North Macedonia

  • MK001 – Vardar
  • MK003 – Southwest
  • MK004 – Southeast
  • MK005 – Pelagonia

 

Actions under this SO, will support transnational synergies aiming at improving multi-sectoral governance processes on all territorial levels, given the complex challenges related to digitalisation, demographic change, public services of general interest (such as health, education, social services) and tourism including culture. Actions should follow a cross-sectoral approach and foster the horizontal and vertical cooperation of relevant actors of the public and, where appropriate, the private sector. Furthermore, actions should also strengthen the capacity of public authorities to prepare integrated territorial development strategies. Possible cooperation actions include the joint development and implementation of strategies, action plans, tools, pilot actions and related solutions.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Local Self-Government and SASPAC, as the cooperative structures of the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme North Macedonia–Albania, hereby announce a call for the provision of appropriate support to the tourist centres established during the implementation of the IPA II Programme, in accordance with the support requests submitted to the two cooperative structures for cross-border cooperation – MLSG and SASPAC.
The call is launched on the basis of Activity A2.10.1 “Support to info/tourist centres established under projects funded by IPA II”, within the framework of the “Technical Assistance to the Cross Border Cooperation Programme North Macedonia–Albania, 2023 allocation.”
Applications submitted under this call may be in free form; there is no official application template. The application should be submitted on the following email: jts.mk_al2009@yahoo.com The deadline for submiting application under this call is 18.05.2026 until 04:00 pm.

In the frame of the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme North Macedonia – Albania 2021-2027, State Agency for Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination, invites interested candidates to apply for the following position:

1 (one) Project Antennae Officer (Elbasan) for the IPA CBC Programme North Macedonia – Albania 2021-2027.

Call for Proposals for “People-to-People” CBC initiatives

The two cross-border cooperation structures responsible for the implementation of the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme North Macedonia–Albania,  the Ministry of Local Self-Government (MoLSG) and the State Agency for Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination (SASPAC),  with the aim of fostering broader neighbourly relations among residents and strengthening cooperation between institutions and organisations not directly involved in the current programme priorities, and in order to enhance the inclusiveness of the Programme and increase its overall impact in the eligible area, have, within the framework of the Programme’s Technical Assistance, provided support for the funding of small cross-border initiatives in the programme area, referred to as “People-to-People” CBC initiatives.

For this purpose, this Call for Proposals is hereby launched. Deadline for submitting applications is 17.04.2026
