Project aim & Objective: The project aim was to contribute to the prevention of disability, through workshops and materials on relevant issues related to early prevention, detection, treatment and rehabilitation. The specific objective was to improve the quality of life of the disabled people and their families, indirect stimulation of the work of institutions dealing with the disabled, as well as increased level of education of the target group and development of joint strategies between the Republic of Macedonia and Albania. The project contributed to the social inclusion and better understanding of the people with intellectual disability in this region
Results: Better accessibility of information and education for the target group; Better understanding of intellectual disability; Improvement of prevention, detection, treatment and rehabilitation; Services’ quality improvement; Set up a network of relevant institutions; Encouraged cooperation.

Project aim & Objective: Enabling social integration of long-term unemployed and young women entering the workforce from urban and rural areas in the cross-border region by increasing women’s capacities for employment through leadership and management, trainings, experience-exchange study trips and cross-border meetings.
Results: Organized promotional campaign posters, postcards, educational manuals; TV announcements; Trained women from both rural and urban parts; Developed training modules; Delivered training sessions in AL and MK; Organized local events by women participants; Organized Study trips.

Municipality of Prilep in MK
Project aim & Objective: The aim of the project was to increase the capacities of local governments in designing and implementing the Local Strategy and Action Plan for Employment, and initiating sustainable partnerships through the Regional Network for Employment Development. The project contributed to the incensement of the social integration of marginalised groups in the cross–border communities of the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Albania through developing and implementing strategies, action plans and employment programmes. The final result was to initiate sustainable partnerships for the capacity building of grassroots NGOs and marginalised youth groups to cope with the entrepreneurship and free–market possibilities of both cross–border areas
Results: Increased capacities of the local governments in designing and implementation of Local Strategy and Action Plan for Employment; initiated sustainable partnerships through created Regional Network for Employment Development; Increased capacities of the marginalized groups in entrepreneurship that is contributing to their social inclusion.

Project aim & Objective: Contribution to the promotion of sustainable development in the cross–border area was the aim of the action. Through presentation of mechanisms and instruments was established and developed a long–term partnerships and networking between university communities, local government, and civil society organizations in the cross–border area.
Results: Functional partnership established among education, local government and civil society institutions at a cross border level; Laid basics for the “culture ambassadors” to build collaborative bridges between students within two regions.

Project aim & Objective: Presentation of the two cities potentials and specifics in front of the general public in the cross-border area. Bringing down all prejudges regarding way of life and culture in the neighbouring country.
Results: Know-how and the experience are provided by existing JBC in Korca to the new established Job and Business Centre (JBC) in Ohrid; One joint Cross Border Advisory (CBA) Committee is set up and trained to advocate and lobby for employment policies for the target; Unemployed people are trained, (Mainly from Gypsy) and motivated to search for a job or get self-employment opportunities.
